Town Square Family Foot Care was founded in March 1997, by Dr. Jill Scholz.Dr. Scholz graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Des Moines University, and completed her residency program at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, where she is now a member of the hospital staff.Dr. Scholz is Board Certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.Dr. Scholz recently served for 2 years as Chair of the Iowa Board of Podiatry Examiners.She was raised in Iowa City and graduated from City High School.
Doctor Scholz treats a broad range of lower leg, ankle and foot conditions including ingrown toenails, treatment/prevention of diabetic complications, heel and arch pain, injuries (trauma, fractures/sprains, sports medicine), fungal toenails, athletes foot and other skin disorders, care of nails/corns/calluses, custom orthotics, and vein disease, and also offers surgical options.From infants to seniors, patients come from as far away as Des Moines, Missouri, and Illinois for appointments.
