Jill Scholz, DPM
Jill Scholz, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician/surgeon with 26 years of experience. Dr. Scholz is also the owner of Town Square Family Foot Care, which she founded in 1997. Skilled in diabetic foot care, general podiatry, and is a wound care specialist.
Dr. Scholz was raised in Iowa City, where she graduated from Iowa City High School and pursued her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University. She then attended the College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Des Moines University, where she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1995. Dr. Scholz completed her postgraduate residency at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, where she now serves as a member of the hospital staff. Dr. Scholz is also affiliated with Washington County Hospital and Clinics.
Dr. Scholz is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. She is the former Chair of the Iowa Board of Podiatry Examiners (2007-2009), and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society, the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, and the American Association for Women Podiatrists.
Christina Finken, DPM
Christina Finken, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist/surgeon with 11 years of experience and specialties in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, and general podiatry.
Dr. Finken grew up in Menasha, WI. She developed an interest in biomechanics and podiatry in high school, as a track and cross-country runner. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse before attending the College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Des Moines University, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2009. Dr. Finken then completed a 3-year surgical residency program at the Ohio State Medical Center in 2012.
Dr. Finken is affiliated with Mercy Hospital in Iowa City and Washington County Hospital and Clinics. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Iowa Podiatric Medical Society.
Leslie Pyle, DPM
Dr. Pyle is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Iowa Podiatric Medical Society, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Podiatric physician and surgeon, Leslie Pyle, DPM, is board-qualified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot And Ankle Surgery. She has specialties in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, minimally invasive bunion surgery, arthroscopy procedures, and general podiatry. Dr. Pyle has been in practice since 2021.
Dr. Pyle was raised in Lafayette Hill, PA, and played field hockey for the University of Iowa, where she had a procedure performed by Dr. Scholz. This led to her working with Dr. Finken as a medical assistant and, ultimately, attending the College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Des Moines to become a podiatrist. Dr. Pyle graduated in 2018 with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She was President of the Pi Delta Honor Society in medical school. Dr. Pyle then completed a 3-year residency program at the Detroit Medical Center in 2021. She was the chief resident in her senior year of residency. Following this, Dr. Pyle participated in a 1-year ACFAS-recognized fellowship program at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines in Trauma and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Pyle was a Big Ten Champion and participated in the NCAA Final Four.
